Patient Survey Results
Thank you to all the people who took part in our recent survey. It was nice to receive so many compliments.
However, the main problem seems to be getting through to the surgery first thing in the morning. On average we take about 75 telephone calls between 08:00 and 09:00, to help us to help you, we would ask the following:
Only call between 08:00 to 09:00 for
- Urgent appointments needed for that morning.
- If you ask to see a doctor as a matter of urgency we cannot stipulate which doctor will see you.
- Your appointment is for 10 minutes to deal with the immediate urgent problem, if you have more than one problem please make a routine appointment.
- Cancelling appointments for that day. (On average 35 patients per week fail to keep their appointments).
Please call after 9.00 to
- Book routine appointments or for advanced bookable appointments
- Book appointments for the nurses
- To sort any medication queries
- Test results
- For any general information
This will help us to deal with the build up of telephone calls quicker. When calling for an appointment please have your diaries to hand.
